RETURN POLICIES

Before returning any merchandise to Advance Forklift Inc., a Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained from the Returns Department by fax (604-944-7024) or email returns@advanceforklift.com. Your request must include:

  • Part number and description
  • Detailed reason for return
  • Advance Forklift Inc. invoice number
  • Customer’s P.O. number
  • Returned merchandise will be thoroughly inspected and tested. Credit will not be issued for parts damaged due to corrosion, abuse, alteration or misuse.

    All returns are subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee for all stocking parts and a minimum of 20% for all non-stocking parts.

    Merchandise must be in original packaging, clean and in sellable condition in order to be accepted.

    All paperwork must be located on the outside of the box. A copy of the original invoice must be included. Failure to do so will result in automatic refusal.

    All returns must be requested within 30 days of original invoice. RA’s are valid for 10 days after date of issue.

    Any shipping discrepancies must be reported within 5 business days.

    Note: Non-returnable parts include; gasket kits, seal kits, electrical components, and chain that has been cut to length.

    Absolutely NO returns without prior approval, they will be automatically refused.

    FREIGHT POLICIES

    All merchandise must be returned “Freight Prepaid”.

    Advance Forklift Inc. shipping errors may result with a return “Freight Collect”, however, there must be prior approval and our courier account number must be obtained.

    Absolutely NO “Freight Collect” shipment will be accepted without prior approval, they will be automatically refused.

    CORE RETURNS

    No RA is required. However a copy of the original invoice must be included. Also “Core Return” must be stated on the outside of the box.

    LIMITED WARRANTY

    Advance Forklift Inc. warrants products sold by it to be free of manufacturing defects in material, or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of sale.

    Advance Forklift Inc. shall not be responsible for circumstances beyond its control, and this warranty shall not apply to products, which in the sole judgement of Advance Forklift Inc., have been subjected to contamination, tampering, negligent handling, misapplication, or other misuses.

    Advance Forklift Inc. is not responsible for cost of labour incurred in diagnosis of defects, removal, or reinstallation of the parts, nor does it cover any other contingent expenses.

    To obtain performance of any warranty obligation, the following conditions must be met:

  • Products may be returned only with proper documentation and explanation of the defect.
  • Submit appropriate documents showing proof of installation and removal date with hour meter readings documented.
