Advance owned a forklift service company for several years. During that time, we learned that it takes three days to reline brake shoes, but only one day to replace them. Unfortunately, due to extremely high prices from the dealers, customers were reluctant to pay top dollar for new brake shoes.

With these problems in mind, we contacted one of the largest brake shoe manufacturers in the world and asked them to supply us with brake shoes at a decent price, while maintaining OEM quality. They said they would, but we would have to order 40-foot containers to prove we were serious. Well we took thier challenge, and today we have become one of the leading suppliers of aftermarket brake shoes within the forklift industry.
